Cake Bake & Sweets

The Cake Bake & Sweets show is the biggest live event in Australia for cake decorators, home bakers and food lovers. The website development was contracted to me by an event agency based in Australia. Powerpoint mockups were provided by the client along with the details of typography and colors.

Features

• They currently have this event in show locations, Melbourne and Sydney. The Mulisite feature of WordPress was used to create the two different locations since each locations had different content.
• Each location has a lot of exhibitors. A custom form was created for the exhibitors where they can enter the data about the company and products in the website. The data is then displayed on a page. Custom Post Type and Custom Fields was used to create the backend for this.
• They also have sessions where people in the food industry speak about a certain topic. Custom Post Type was used to create the Speakers and Sessions backend. They display on the front end in a list, where the visitors can filtre the sessions by category and date.
• The website is responsive on all mobile devices.
